Final

In this image i learned that the background matter ! The background is one of the most important factors in  taking a picture. I liked this picture because my model actually looks like a serial killer.

In this picture i learned to sit the model by themselves, because if you have more than one person they start to play around. Models are a rare species. I picked this picture because i like the expression in Chuys face.
In this picture i learned that you need to tan your models. jk, i learned that you need to tell the model when your gonna take the picture because then the eyes come out looking somewhere else. I also like the expression in Anthonys face

In this image i learned that an image can also be taken horizontally. I like this image because she looks stunning & i like how her clothes are matching

In this image i learned that you can make a portrait out of anything, including your hands ! I like this picture because of tyhe expression in Chris's face

In this image i learned to not take a picture when the model matches the background. I like this picture because of how i Photoshopped  myself.

In this image i lesrned that you can take good pictures of anything from point of views that you don't usually see. I like this image because i took it with the first cameras we used & it came out good.

In this image i learned to be careful with shadows because they are hard to photo shop. I like the fact that Chris looks like hes actually floating.

I learned that panning isnt the hardest thing in the world. Its as easy as pressing the shutter button half way. I like this image because of Mr. Pedersons pose.

What i learned about this image is that taking a picture with rule of thirds can make an image look good. I like this image because shes doing a handstand. It doesn't get cooler than now.

What are my favorite things in this class ? EVERYTHING. But to be specific, i like all the posters. I like the working environment & most of all i like Mr. Pederson (:

The most important thing i learned about photography was that taking pictures is not just clicking the shutter button & boom. No it takes more than that. You need to check that its not washed out, the backgrounder is OK, the model has to be how you want it.

My advice would be "Don't talk when Mr. Pederson is talking !"

Mr. Pederson your the best (:

Inner Child

I chose this picture because its a very seductive pose by my model Anthony. Also i think he looks really funny he he. I really like the background in this picture although i could have made it better by adding a greater depth of feel. I feel like i did a good job with the lighting.

I also chose this picture because i think he looks really funny. I don't know why but my models skin color is white in the picture & the background is darker so that makes my model stand out a little more than usual which makes the picture a little better.

My model Chuy also looks pretty funny in this picture. The lighting & the background are pretty good. I made sure to take pictures of my models in the same spot because i thought it would look better

This picture makes me laugh because of Chuys hair. He looks like a disproving parent. I didn't like how his sweater looks brighter thanks to the contrast of the background, but the picture is still good.

1. My experience with each model was good. Especially with Anthony because he had so many faces & hes a funny person in general. His face expressions where so good. Chuy was also a good model. Although at the end it was a little hard to take pictures because he had ran out of emotions. All his pictures looked funny because of his new haircut. Definitely a challenge we had was lighting. since our class is in the morning, sometimes the sun decides to come out which makes the pictures look a little different. My challenge with Anthony was the reflection of his glasses. I couldn't see his eyes. A difficulty i had with Chuy was his hair cut. I had taken a couple of pictures of Chuy but thanks to his hair cut i had to start all over. My models had a lot of successes. I don't think i had 1 single picture where they weren't modeling. They where both really focused on what they where doing. Especially because this assignment was pretty fun to do.

2.My experience as a model was pretty good. I only wanted to come out in one of the pictures so i could have more time to do my own. I think i had some funny faces. I had to stay focused & hear what my photographer wanted & not be boring. Being a model can help you a lot as a photographer. A photographer works behind the camera but if hes a

    Panning

I took this picture without using the tripod & focusing on one person running. The challenges i had with with the sun light ! If the sun came out my entire picture would come out washed out & i wouldn't know how to change it.That is why we tried to stay inside a trees shadow for shade.

I think i took the picture with a tripod & moving at the same speed as my partner. A challenge was getting the face focused. Sometimes i would get the face in focus but my partner was going slow so the picture didn't come out blurry. There wasn't a lot of space where i was working at.
I took this picture with my tripod & moving the same speed & keeping time was a technique i used. A challenge i faced was the sun once again! also zooming in & zooming out was a challenge.
I used my hands to hold the camera, i didn't use a tripod. There was only one space with shade where Mr. Peterson would come so i had to take a picture right when he was passing thru the shade or he would come out washed out. That was a major challenge. Also focusing on his face.

    Float

what was our inspiration? Dragon Ball Z ! We wanted to capture a moment where they are doing the Kame Hame Ha, although we needed a beam, we did a good job capturing me in mid air. Something that was very complicated was finding someone who would want to jump up & get6 dirty. Nobody wanted to do it so i has to do it, Also i cant jump high so i had to run up & jump which made things harder freeze the image completely. The jumping part, i ran up. The getting dirty part, i just put on a sweater.

I think this one is obvious. The Vader ! Chris has super powers that is making me & Chato choke. A very big technical challenge was the timing. We started counting before we did the jump. Also the faces we made. It had to make us look like we where in pain

    Creative controls

                                                                   Part #1

    1) Which Aperture makes a wider hole in the lens for light to come through? F/3.5
    2) Which Aperture lets more light into the camera to hit the image sensor? F/5.6
    3) Which Aperture keeps more of the foreground and background in focus? F/11.
    4) Which Shutter Speed is faster? 1/200 second.
    5) Which Shutter Speed keeps the door in the camera open for more time? 1/30 second
    6) Which Shutter Speed is best for stopping action? 1/200 second.

                                                                    Part #2

    Set 1: AV mode f2.7, f5.6, f8
There is not a lot of difference between these images even tho each one has a different F stop. The first image has a shallow depth a feel & the rest have deep depth of feel, that's thanks to the F stop. The lower the F stop the wider the hole is if the len. It lets more light in.

Set 2: TV mode 1/10, 1/60, 1/500 PERSON NOT MOVING
For the 1/10 there image came out so wash out for some reason everything came out super bright. For the other 2, thery came out pretty similar, they are both in focus & they look pretty good in color although its pretty dark & the colors look solid. i couldn't get my partner in the

    Set 3: TV mode 1/10, 1/60, 1/500 PERSON MOVING
For the firsdt one my partners hand is really blurry & the whole picture is really washed out. For the second one my partners hand is a little blurry & everything else looks good. The third one was really good & it stopped the motion completely. I think i did a pretty good job on getting my partner in the same position.

                                              Set 4: TV mode 1/10, 1/60, 1/500 PANNING

For the panting everything had to do with the shutter speed. Since the shutter speed was too low in the first one i git my partner really blurry. In the second one i kind of stropped the motion but theress still blur to it. In the third one i completely stopped the motion.

    Part #3
    1) Depth of feel means when everything in focus, when you can see little details.
    2) i don't know
    3) a shutter speed of 1/10 makes a moving object look blurry & a shutter speed of 1/500 stops the motion.

    Patterns

    Man Made

Both picture are man made.  The first images a picture of water fountains put together. What i like about this picture is that everyone walks through this water fountain but i don't think nobody has ever stopped to look at it from this angle. The first water fountain looks crisp & as each water fountain passes the image starts to blur little by little. I think images like that are cool. The second image is a picture of the concrete. Its pretty simple but i like the way it looks once i saw it. Its all blueish, almost as if it where from outer space. There is a little but of purple in the corner that makes it looks even cooler. That's why i like both of these images.

                                                                  Natural

Both of these images are man made. I like the first one because i caught Danny & Ryan wearing the same sweater so i decided to take a picture. i like the first sweater is a little blurry & the second one is perfectly crisp. It likes nice. The yellow makes it stand out. The second image, i tried to get the shadow of the bench but i didn't really focus on it. What i like is that when you see the regular bench it looks ass if it where perfectly straight. Although when you see the shadow you can obviously sere that's they are not. But the benches look the same, that's the pattern. I really like the time of day too. this is why i like the picture.
